Do you have any advice for new writers?
The industry is always changing, but I wrote a blog on this very subject. It’s more than a decade old, but I still think most of it holds true. The self-published/Indie world has exploded, and the number of NY published books have shrunk due to more limited shelf space, but the differences still hold true. I don’t have much experience in the Indie arena, but I suspect it is very difficult to get visibility there.
